I think people are beautiful
I’m Julie. I’ve always loved faces!
Every person’s face is beautiful. If you love someone, their face is specially dear. I take photos to get a lasting image of the beautiful-ness of people. Every face deserves to be shown for its beauty, and the personality that shines through it. It’s always a delight to me to show that.
I live in the woods of Connecticut now, though California and England are also ‘home’ in my heart. Many of my 8 children are grown. Reading, cooking, teaching, volunteering, and family stuff keep me busy when I’m not photographing. Wellness and prayer are important to me. My friends are gifts. Learning to see what’s in front of me, and find the beauty in it, has been a huge part of my photography, and it’s all connected, right?
